Description

Young adult Jack Leslie is generally perceived as normal. One day, a horrible accident happens, and he is rushed to the emergency room. Surprisingly, after a few days Jack had healed most injuries and were only left with minor ones, and there was zero scar tissue. A thorough research shows that Jack's body had evolved, giving him abilities such as, but are not limited to, letting him survive many fatal wounds, endure harsh conditions, and surprisingly - prevent him from receiving the negative consequences of aging, such as deterioration. Jack is at first excited at this prospect, but soon realizes that immortality has its negatives. After meeting someone who has not long to live, Jack takes a trip through life as he learns a little too late the bittersweetness of a mortal life.
