The Blade of the Mother
Lucus was pretty average, mid-thirties, a wife and no children. He worked as a researcher in one of the premier institutions for cutting edge tech and medicine. Unfortunately the "Love" of his life wasn't as content as he was in there marriage. On a nondescript evening he is attacked beaten, tied-up, and stabbed by two people a masked man and his own wife, hes then thrown into a trunk and that's where he lies until he grows cold and his chest stops rising. Betrayed and broken he finds himself in-front of a beautiful woman sitting on a bolder in the middle of a white space devoid of anything save the two of them, the bolder she sat upon and a swirling black mass.
