Rising Against Fate

Whatever happened, happened; whatever is happening, is happening; whatever will happen, will happen. But what if you want to reach the point where whatever you want will happen? What kind of strength do you need to bend the fate to your will? ---- I was part of this circle even before I was born. I tried to escape it all my life, but at the end, I found myself right back to where I started. I worked hard to survive, I prayed for miracle to save me. But in the end, nothing worked. So, I gave up, I quit. But even after that, I couldn't rest in peace. It didn't let me. I was right back to being my old cursed self. Something was different though. People used to call me poor, unfortunate or even miserable. But for the first time in my life, someone called me lucky.
