Description

In the year 2033, a new virus appears, either killing or asymptomatically infecting the vast majority of the world's population. Then there are the Variants, people mutated by the Advent Virus, made stronger, given abilities previously called fiction. Three years later, and Alex Westsmith is attending a prestigious boarding school in New Hellensburge, Louisiana, USA, while administering lethal justice as the vigilante, Pyre, with the help of his hacker roommate, Richard, whose mother happens to be the city's chief of police-and the holder of a burning desire to see Pyre jailed or shot. But as a vicious ring of thieves and murderers comes to the forefront, along with a host of other Variant and regular criminals, Pyre's fight becomes even more personal-and Pyre rushes to dismantle the Diamond Dozen Gang, after civilians, including those close to him and his fellow students, start dropping like flies.
