"Your parents are dead." This statement from his so-called family sent Ling Dang into a state of depression for three years when he was a child. The absence of parental love that every child deserves to have, combined with a sense of guilt, regret and self-hatred has warped his view of the world since then and he is now scared to become attached to others, making him seem completely cold and unapproachable.
