Legend Of the Elemental God

Earth was always a planet that possessed a fantastic atmosphere, unique ecosystems, exotic plants and magical and spiritual beasts. These beasts were capable of acquiring great power and knowledge as time went on. Humanity, however, was not gifted to wield such power and attain a deep well of knowledge and for some time was at the mercy of these beasts. As a result, many humans died: children, adults and elderly were slaughtered. Humanity prayed to any god who was listening to them and cried out to bestow any type of power to fight against this dangerous force that nearly brought them to extinction. Many Gods and Goddesses saw humanity’s situation and voted to help out their lesser beings; Resulting in an event taking place called “Harmonic Convergence”. All of a sudden, humanity was gifted the power over the elements; they knew that their prayers were answered and with this gift they began to rebel against the beasts that threatened their lives everyday. 3,000 thousand years of fighting passed by; where a certain number of humans stood at the apex and fought against equally powerful beast and managed to grow prosperous and bountiful from their measly and pathetic state and as with their powers grew so did their primitive technology to advance technology. Those same Gods and Goddess began seeing humanity’s growth; and although they voted to remain neutral and never interfere in the affairs of mortals. They began having second thoughts and many agreed to live among the humans, however many also didn’t agree and wanted to kill those mortals before they could rebel against them with the gifts they received. Then civil war broke out, both sides were equally matched and were at a stalemate. Those divine beings began looking for suitable hosts to wield their godly power and try to change the tide of war. However, They weren’t the only ones and the gods that opposed began looking at magical and spiritual beasts to host as well. To this day the war still continues. But a certain individual wielding a type of power never seen before is born and with this birth could there be a hero to finish this godly war or a villain that destroys humanity and the gods all together regardless if they are good or bad.
